Audiophiles Chinese Percussion
£49.95
"King of Percussion" is performed by many famous Chinese musicians and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, using percussion to play around various Chinese musical instruments. It was recorded by American recording geek Todd Garfunkle and Hong Kong Terence Lai, using top-notch audio cables, connected to ultra-large dynamic and high-sensitivity pickup microphones (Todd's special Japanese cannon microphone and the famous B&K4004), and directly recorded to a 1 bit 5.6448 MegaHz DSD digital recorder.
The first to ninth songs were recorded in a 540 square meter church (the tenth song was recorded with multiple microphones on site PCM). The reverberation is rich and natural, the drum skin vibrates, the tension is rich, the drum edge is hit, and the sound is powerful. It is an essential software for testing audio equipment.
Many of the tracks were selected by "Audio Technology" magazine to be included in the "Original Sound Selection" SACD for audiophiles to audition.
